Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender – What Do Others Think?

I cannot go without my hand blender. What is more, I need a good strong one that is easy to clean and that is the reason I first start looking at the Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender. And am I glad I did! It is a very good little machine. Let’s have a look at what other are saying so that you do not have to take my word for it.
1. It is easy to clean:
For C. Scagliola one of the very important characteristics of the Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender is that the blade assembly can be washed in the dishwasher and that the shaft is stainless steel and does not stain like the plastic one.

C. Scagliola goes on to say that it is a strong machine. You can blend really chunky soups with it with ease. The shaft is long enough so you can blend in pots, pitchers and bowls, making less dishes to wash afterward. For a lazy bones like me that is very important.

3. It fits your hand perfectly:
Reading through all the comments it became clear to me that people like the hand blender because it also fits your hand perfectly. This makes for ease of blending. If have to mention though that there are people who says it is a little difficult to handle when it hits something solid. I have not had that problem yet, but I mention it to be fair to all.
As hand blenders go, I think we all have to accept that there are limits to what we can expect. You are blending soups, sauces and more in the pot you made it. This is so convenient, but you have to realize you are not going to get the same protection against splashes etc. that you are going to get with a mixer blender with a jug.
If you want to avoid all risk of ever having a splash, a hand blender is not for you. Me, I cannot go without mine. It is used for almost everything, I even make homemade mayonnaise with it.
So, I think you should have a look at the Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender and make up your own mind.
